Even a brief power outage or surge can cause timers to be way-off and even cause breakers to blow (big problems for deep freezes, sump pumps...even security systems. It is not surprising that many homeowner insurance policies require a home check every 72 hours to validate the policy.

Your mail can be forwarded while you are away, to whatever destination you choose. In addition, a home sitter can arrange to notify you via email or phone in case of an emergency, such as a utilities problem requiring immediate access to your property.
- If you have plants (who doesn't?) a home sitter can provide regular care and rotation to ensure you're not having to replace them when you get home.
For the (small) pets...
Pets such as hamsters, fish, birds and even cats do not generally like moving from their established habitat. The basic service is only $24.00/hour per visit. For example if you were in Bonnyville it would be 1.5 hours travel time (round trip to home base) = $36.00 + .25 hour to check out your home = $42.00/visit. If you would like additional services like snow removal, that would be at $24.00/hour.
